Women’s health & wellbeing

Dr Abi Adanijo

Women’s health & wellbeing

Compassionate, specialist support for women’s health and emotional wellbeing.

At different stages of life, women face a unique set of emotional and physical challenges. These can be shaped by hormonal changes, chronic health conditions, fertility journeys, relationship issues, identity shifts, or the pressures of juggling multiple roles. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and feel heard.

Specialist Mental Health Support for Endometriosis

Therapy for women with endometriosis — because your emotional pain matters too.

Living with endometriosis is not just about managing physical symptoms. This often misunderstood condition can affect every part of life - from chronic pain and fatigue to emotional distress, fertility concerns, and the toll of feeling unheard by healthcare professionals.

With both professional expertise and lived experience of endometriosis, I provide specialist psychological support for women navigating endometriosis, using a mind-body approach that validates the complexity of your experience. Sessions are tailored to help with:

  • Emotional processing and mood management

  • Medical trauma or dismissal

  • Coping with chronic pain

  • Identity and self-worth

  • Building resilience and support systems

Areas of Support

In addition to endometriosis, I support women through a wide range of experiences, including:

  • Hormonal mood changes and conditions (e.g. PMDD, PCOS)

  • Fertility challenges and IVF support

  • Pregnancy and postnatal mental health

  • Birth trauma

  • Feeling dismissed or unheard in healthcare settings

  • Stress, burnout, and perfectionism

  • Confidence, boundaries, and self-worth

A Space That Understands

Too often, women’s pain—physical or emotional—is minimised. I offer a warm, collaborative space where your experiences will be taken seriously. My approach is informed, trauma-aware, and sensitive to the mental and emotional strain that can come with navigating health and gendered expectations.
